This course will help us to learn helpful tools that allow us figure out what you do in a crisis by tolerating distress skillfully. In this module, we will learn how to understand and apply distress tolerance skills to provide us with ways of surviving in terrible situations without resorting to certain behaviours that will make the situation worse. These skills help us to experience, tolerate and accept emotional pain in order to build a life with less suffering and more acceptance of the world as it is.
