Online DBT Skills Training

Are your emotions sometimes extremely intense and hard to control or even understand?

There are skills you can learn to overcome extreme emotions, and get your life back in balance again. We are talking about DBT Skills.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a well researched, evidence-based treatment originally designed for Borderline Personality Disorder. This therapy blends Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), focusing on our thoughts and actions, and Zen Buddhism which focuses on becoming a mindful observer of one’s experiences.

We are offering a 24 week long program focused on teaching these skills. 

This program can be an excellent addition to your current therapy or as done as a self-help program. 

Friends and family of people with emotional or mental health difficulties will find these skills helpful. School age kids, young adults and even those in the business place will benefit from learning and practising the 4 modules of DBT Skills Training: 

  1. Mindfulness
  2. Emotion Regulation
  3. Interpersonal Effectiveness
  4. Distress Tolerance

Online Classes run in repeated cycles, so you can start at different times of the year.  

Starting September 2nd, 2020 

Held on Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Participants can register for all four (4) modules or choose the module that best addresses your specific challenges.
