Effective Therapy for Children, Teens and Adults (Ages 5-35)

Suramya’s is gentle, practical, patient, and focused on helping you feel at ease in session, helping you build better relationships. She works with Children and Adults (ages 5 to 35) with trauma, anger, depression, anxiety, immigration adaptation, and cultural issues.

Issues: Depression, anxiety, anger, immigration adaptation, cultural issues, and trauma. Supporting children, teens and young adults.

Treatment approach: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, art/play therapy, EMDR, and other tools. Our goal will be to realize tangible improvements in your life. You can feel less stressed, more energized, calmer, and get along better with your family, and improve your relationships.

Therapy with me is a safe space with no judgement where you can share your deepest concerns and work towards your goals.

In therapy, we will work together to tap the inner resources that you already have. We will also work to help you build new coping skills. You can build a chest of tools that will help you respond to difficulty and better handle the challenges that life presents.

Get unstuck

All of us can get stuck, developing habits and ways of responding that don’t serve our needs. In therapy you can press “Reset” and get your life back on track.

By looking at what gives you meaning, you can connect with purpose in your own life and set goals that are meaningful to you.

Cope with anxiety and stress

Learn practical coping tools for anxiety and stress. Using a holistic approach and drawing from different tools, we will work to help you become more resilient and able to respond better to challenges.
