Academic Supervision for Tutoring & Special Needs Support

In addition to her clinical work, Kathleen plays a key leadership role as the Academic Supervisor for Tutoring and Special Needs Programs at The Insight Clinic. She provides guidance and oversight to ensure that all tutoring services align with evidence-based practices and support each student’s unique learning profile.

Kathleen works closely with our tutoring team to develop individualized strategies for students with ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, and neurodiverse needs—ensuring consistency between academic support and therapeutic care. Her involvement helps bridge the gap between mental health, behaviour, and academic performance, creating a more holistic and effective support system for every child.

Why Specialized Support for Special Needs Matters

Students with special needs often require more than traditional tutoring. Challenges such as attention difficulties, emotional regulation, learning differences, and low confidence can significantly impact academic progress.

At The Insight Clinic, we believe that true progress happens when we support the whole child—not just their schoolwork. Our integrated approach combines academic support, emotional understanding, and personalized strategies to help students build confidence, resilience, and independence.

Early and specialized intervention can make a meaningful difference in a child’s long-term success—both in school and in life. That’s why our team is committed to providing compassionate, structured, and individualized support for every learner.
