Gretchen is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Family Therapy and Systemic Intervention and a Bachelor’s in General Psychology. She is a proud member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). Gretchen is passionate about helping individuals and families face challenges, uncover strengths, and make meaningful positive changes in their lives.
Her therapeutic style is grounded in respect, sensitivity, and compassion. She provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can begin their journey toward healing, personal growth, and self-awareness. Working collaboratively, Gretchen helps clients build effective coping strategies, reframe unhelpful patterns, and move toward greater balance and resilience.
Gretchen specializes in supporting children and adults with ADHD, offering specialized coaching to improve executive functioning, emotional regulation, time management, and goal-setting skills. She integrates neurofeedback into her practice, a brain-based intervention that helps enhance focus, attention, and self-control.
In addition to ADHD, Gretchen provides structured care for anxiety, guiding clients with practical tools and techniques to ease symptoms, build confidence, and find calm in everyday life. Her background in family systems therapy equips her to work effectively with families, improving communication, reducing conflict, and supporting them through stress and transitions.
Gretchen’s practice also includes support for depression, behavioral concerns, parenting challenges, life changes, and low self-esteem. She employs evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, behavioral strategies, and psychoeducation, tailoring every session to meet the unique needs of each client.
Clients appreciate Gretchen’s warm, collaborative approach and her dedication to helping them build meaningful skills and resilience for lasting mental wellness.
