Jamie Anson, M.ADS, RBA (Ont.) BCBA, is the ABA Clinical Director and Director of Operations at The Insight Clinic, leading all Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and interdisciplinary services across the clinic. She is a Registered Behaviour Analyst and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst listed on the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Provider List, supporting families across Whitby and Durham Region.
With a Master’s degree in Applied Disability Studies (ABA specialization) from Brock University and over 15 years of experience, Jamie has supported children, youth, and families navigating autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, and developmental and behavioural challenges.
Jamie leads the development of personalized ABA therapy programs designed to create meaningful, real-life outcomes for families—reducing daily stress, improving communication, and building independence.
Her approach focuses on:
Individualized ABA therapy plans tailored to each child’s strengths and needs
Improving communication, behaviour regulation, and social skills
Building independence in daily living and self-care
Supporting children across home, school, and community settings
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, Jamie builds programs that are practical, compassionate, and designed to work in real-life environments.
As Director of Operations, Jamie oversees all interdisciplinary services at The Insight Clinic, ensuring alignment between:
ABA therapy ( at home, on-site and in community)
Psychotherapy , assessments and technology assisted mental health services
non clinical intervention such as academic and tutoring support
Behavioural and developmental interventions including summer camps and day camps
Her leadership ensures that families receive integrated, consistent, and high-quality care, with collaboration across all providers supporting the child’s full development.
Under Jamie’s leadership, The Insight Clinic is expanding its services to provide both clinical ABA therapy and non-clinical developmental supports, creating a full continuum of care for children, youth, and adults.
Our expanded services include:
Clinical ABA therapy (OAP-eligible services)
Academic support and special needs tutoring
Social skills groups and peer interaction programs
Focus, attention, and executive functioning support
Anxiety and emotional regulation support
Summer camps and structured developmental programs
Support for children, youth, and adults with diverse needs
This comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive support not only in therapy sessions, but also in academic, social, and everyday life environments.
Families value Jamie’s ability to translate clinical expertise into practical, everyday strategies. Her model emphasizes:
Parent coaching and training, so progress continues at home
Building sustainable routines and strategies
Creating long-term developmental success, not just short-term behaviour change
Her work helps families experience fewer meltdowns, stronger connections, and more confidence in supporting their child.
Jamie believes that every child has unique potential. Her philosophy is rooted in identifying and building on each child’s strengths to create meaningful progress.
“Every child learns differently. I find their spark, then build from there.” — Jamie Anson, ABA Clinical Director
